How to Enable Copy / Paste on Windows server
A) Enabling this feature in Remote Desktop Client
To check whether the feature is enabled in the Remote Desktop Client, follow the steps below:
Step 1: Open Remote Desktop application from your local Windows computer and click on options as you can see in the following image
Step 2: Click on the Local Ressources tab and select Clipboard option, you can do it by hitting its tickbox.
B) Enabling this feature on the Windows server
To enable this feature on the Windows server, you must restart the clipboard process on the Windows server. To do this, follow these steps:
Step 1: Open the task manager in server. To open it, type taskmgr in the startup menu.
Step 2: Click the local ressources tab and find the rdpclip.exe process in the list, click on it and hit the end process button as shown in the pictures below.
Step 3: Click the application tab, then click on New Process . Type rdpclip and then click "OK."
