It's all about cores when we talk about a high-performance CPU. Yes, 5.3 gigahertz can be more than five gigahertz. But if you have four seats instead of eight, you are losing out. But that's not how things worked. Three years ago, you only needed four cores to run your desktop.
Are the top AMD processors the king of CPU mountain? They are not yet, at least not now! They are still very competitive, particularly with their impressive performance in the AMD Ryzen 9 5900X high-end range. It helps that AMD can make powerful CPUs with comparable performance to its competitors while offering a lower price than their competition.
AMD is, however, vying for Intel in the ongoing AMD vs. Intel war. We've put together our top picks for the most current AMD processors to help you decide which one is best for you. You'll find a high-quality processor here.
We will see why the invisible hand behind the free market believes that the Ryzen 5 3600 has the undisputed sweet spot. It's because it gives you the most value for your money. Continue reading to know more.

The first round of 7nm "Cezanne" APUs from AMD for desktop computers proved to be a great deal in these difficult times. These chips are packed with the most powerful integrated graphics available in an x86 desktop CPU chip.
Since launch, they've also remained in stock at suggested prices, which is a rare feat in this silicon-starved market. If you set your expectations appropriately, the Ryzen 7 5700G is $359 and the AMD Ryzen 5 5600G is $259, respectively. They have amazing GPU gaming capabilities. This illustrates how the Zen 3 architecture paired with Vega graphics is still able to surpass the most integrated graphics Intel provides.
AMD's Ryzen 5500G chips represent significant steps in the right direction. However, the company's decision not to sell the Ryzen 3 5300G is disappointing. The chip is awesome to be very honest.

The Ryzen 5 3600 12-thread Ryzen 5 3600 has a 7nm compute (with two disabled cores) and a 12nm I/O. The two components are combined into one package, which fits in a 65W TDP envelope. And this makes it physically identical to the 95W Ryzen 5/3600X.
This mid-range AMD processor is the best for gaming, with its impressive multi-threading performance and competitive performance even in the most demanding single-threaded applications. AMD Ryzen 5 3600X goes beyond that. It takes budget-minded performance to the next level with an increased IPC (instructions-per-clock) performance and a faster clock speed while remaining at the same price.

AMD Ryzen 5 5600G is AMD's latest chip-based on Zen 3 processor cores with Vega integrated graphics. The APU is equipped with six cores as well as twelve threads. It runs at a 3.9 GHz base speed and 4.4 GHz increase speeds.
The APU is equipped with seven GPU cores based upon Vega architecture and running at 1900 MHz. It can handle basic tasks well.
Souza notes that AMD could have added more GPU cores, but power constraints have prevented this chip from carrying more Radeon Vega cores. As you can see, most of the 10.7 billion 7 nm silicon transistors are used to compute purposes like Zen 3 or GCN5 Vega units. The rest are used for IO, memory, and IO.

Everybody deserves a powerful processor. For streamers and gamers, uncompromising performance and quality are the norms. The 12 Ryzen 9 3900X cores are made on the 7nm lithographic technology.
They have a base frequency of 3.8 GHz and a maximum boost clock of 4.6 GHz for the fastest cores. The cores are wired with a 64 MB L4 cache. And, unlike its Intel counterpart, the almost one-year-old 3900X has PCIe4.0. There are 24 lanes.

The chip's outstanding specs allow for fluid gameplay. In our tests in our testing, our tests showed that the Ryzen 9 achieved 163.2 FPS in Borderlands 3 at 1080p Ultra.
The same results were achieved in Far Cry 5 at 150.7 FPS in Hitman 2. Frame rates were also 52.4 FPS when the Ryzen 9 was tested at 1440p with Microsoft Flight Simulator. This powerful tool is great for any build.

AMD's first 7nm Zen 3 APUs, the 'Cezanne Zen 3' Zen 3 for desktop computers, has arrived with the eight-core Ryzen 7 5700G 16-thread Ryzen 7 7700G. AMD will make use of Cezanne chips to bridge important price gaps in the Ryzen 5000 lineup, which is at the top of our Top CPU List and CPU Benchmark list.
However, they are only available to OEM customers until the retail launch on August 5, 2021. We were eager to see how the Ryzen 7 5700G performs, so we borrowed an HP system off-the-shelf. We're now back to completing the gaps by performing additional testing, including overclocking.
Since the 2019 quad-core Zen+ "Picasso," the Cezanne chips have been the first AMD APUs to be made available at retail. AMD changed its Picasso chips within its line-up by introducing the eight-core Zen 2 powered Ryzen Pro Renoir series APUs in 2020.
However, this disappointing move meant that it reserved those chips exclusively for OEMs. Unfortunately, this means that APUs with the ageing Zen+ architecture is no longer available at retail. And this is despite AMD having gone through three generations of chips (Zen 2, XT, and Zen 3).
Final Thoughts
The Ryzen 5000 series is the best CPU for multi-threads. The 5000 series of Ryzen 9 has more cores and threads, which is sufficient for multitasking as well as gaming with dedicated graphics. You can have a satisfying build if your budget is handsome.
These AMD processors are capable of clock speeds up to 4.8. These CPUs are far superior to what Intel has to offer at this price. To see some of the built-in graphics, make sure you have at least 2x8 GB of Rams in the dual-channel.
